H. Pride Scanlan
Mr. Scanlan has 28 years insurance consulting experience. His career began in 1981 with Willis, where he spent a year in England as a broker in Lloyd’s of London. He joined BCI in 1984 and currently serves as President and Director of Marketing. Mr. Scanlan is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table. As an MDRT member, he has achieved Top of the Table for 20 years.
Mr. Scanlan is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he received a bachelor’s degree in Communications, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University.
James V. Hunt Jr.
Mr. Hunt leads with more than 20 years of experience as a consultant and manager working in the fields of employee benefits including business process design, automation and outsourcing; benefits administration system design and implementation; interactive media design; benefit statement production; call center and VOIP integration; video production; general software design/development; and graphic design.
Prior to joining BCI, Mr. Hunt served in the US Navy as a Main Propulsion Assistant where he managed a large division with responsibility for shipboard propulsion, electrical generation and supporting engineering systems. During his tour, he was instrumental in installation and administration of a shipboard Local Area Computer Network, one of the first of its kind aboard a destroyer.
Mr. Hunt is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he completed studies in Economics and Business Administration.
Director of Enrollment
Mr. Nichols leads client service and project management with more than 20 years of experience in employee benefit communications and enrollment. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of an Arizona-based communications and enrollment firm and joined BCI in 2006.
Mr. Nichols was raised in Nebraska where he received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
